Monte Vista Film and Communication Magnet teaches film and digital media as a tool for students to find their VOICE. All students have opportunities to share their learning (what they know) and their story (who they are). We teach students to develop effective communication skills to inform and inspire others. We use cooperative learning strategies, Thinking Maps, Project-Based Learning and the Arts to foster deep learning and creative communication.
